nice

This is very strange...not really my type of music. But i keep an open mind when it comes to reviewing. And i'll say this, it's very good for what it is. The variations in the drum beat kept it from being repetitive. The strange noises gave the song and almost ethereal feel. Very nice production. I look forward to hearing more.

thanks for a well thought out response. its nice that u can appreciate it despite not necessarily liking it. personally i think its great :) but uve gotta love your on music unless you're a sadist. now go listen to the other one :P

cool

It was pretty good man, im a big fan of linkin park. But you made it more ambient, it wasnt energetic enough to be "dance" music. Though it was really well made, got a bit repeptitive though. Keep it up man!

STU-PIDASO responds:

hmm ambiance...
i really don't know how to clasify music, i wish i could change it to the correct type.

thanks for the input.

hmmm

Invest in some bass guitars lessons. Try putting more effort in before you submit next time

rioross responds:

witch will be the case in an upcoming song.

Wow!

Another classic! I see you went with the snare and booming cello intro again! But if it works, why change it? I liked the kind of indian soundning percussive noise, gave the song a feeling of an epic journey, like from a movie or something, where an army is travelling the great plains of...somewhere. I just love the giant string arrangements in your pieces! They're so mighty and and powerful. Hail the arbiter!! *bows down* Im expecting to see your name in the credits of the next hollywood blockbuster!

epic

Well, since you've given me so many kind words, I though id return the favour. The beginning is very epic, which made me begin to fall in love instantly. Your instruments all stood out very well in the mix, and the overall sound was powerful. Then it stopped and there was a very strange blowing noise that scared me a little, but was still good, lol. Then back to the epic strings and drums. And then the choir! Im just a sucker for choral arrangements. One thing though...near the end what was that clicky noise?

What can I say though...overall, brilliant!! You dont have much submitted, but what you have is pure gold, 5's all round!!

waheyy

I havent heard the original, but this just sounds sexy, it made me want to get up and shake my pelvis at random strangers! The strings made it epic, and the guitars and drums made it hard rocking! One thing though, i dont think the guitars were quite loud enough. Put yeh, thoroughly enjoyable, 5's for you!!

Grumbleduke responds:

Well, the original was on the snes, and this was seriously one of the best tunes in the game, nay of 1992! I just found it so catchy when I heard it I had to cover it. Until the end, the guitars are a support device, so I had to make way for the main melody. It could be the Metaller in you yearning for more hardcore guitar grindin'!

As for shaking your pelvis at random strangers; only Quagmire is allowed to do that and get away with it. I appreciate the enthusiasm, but stop it.

cool

Reminds me of...machine head. Its crazy old school metal fundementals, none of this watered down new shit. I love this track man. You are helping keep the spirit of metal alive on newgrounds!! Loved the solo! Nice production aswell!!

DarKsidE555 responds:

WooT! Thanks a bunch, not to mention that you say it reminds you of machine head, which is my fav. band! :D

Thanks for checking it out and stay metal! \m/>_<\m/

One line to some this up "METAL IN MY PANTS", yeh, you are one sick ass guitarist. You've got a real nice drum sound going there. And the guitars are fat sounding. This gonna have any vox? Anyay, keep it up, rock on!!!

DarKsidE555 responds:

ROOOOOARRR! I can give that back! \m/

omg

Quite possibly the sickest piece of heavy metal on newgrounds. You are the next kirk hammet. That was some sick ass 80's metal style shit there, keep it up!!

Metalcan responds:

Thanks a lot! Kirk Hammet is the shit. :)

The next slayer you say?

Ha, you have the craziest death growl, that is some heavy shit!! Your voice reminded me of the guy from Lamb of God, which is sick cause they rule! I wish I could do that, but my voice pussies out on me and i end up losing my voice. But yeh, loving the blastbeats!! Keep it up, rock on!

darkkloud responds:
