Great

I liked this piece alot. But there were certain things that could have been improved: -

- the notes in the left hand weren't being sustained enough, making the piece sound jumpy, when you clearly were going for a more mellowed out feel.
- Your instruments sound a bit too MIDI like, which put me off

Apart from that, your orchestration is beautiful, the movement from piano to orchestral is great, and then reintroducing the piano to give a build up of sound. Then the harp, you even included realistic strumming patterns, to make them sound realistically played, shame your samples are so bad. Overall a brillant piece, loved every second, 5's for you!!

nice

Little too much delay on the synth line, which made it sound messy., and the bass line was way too loud, started overloading my speakers. But you get points for doing something orignal with this song as i've heard so many bad remakes. Keep it up man, nice work!!!

Great!

Well, seeing as you reviewed so many of mine, thought id hit you back some. Well what can i say, this song is truly...bizzare...but i liked it, i dont know why, but i did. It had a nice danceable feel, and squelchy synth lead scared me at first, but it gives the song a distinct original edge, and the song loops nicely. Keep it up, i look forward to more from you!!

thnx man!

i love yo stuff!

nice

This is a very soothing piece, it develops nicely from the two notes being played at the beginning, as you add more and more layers of harmony. At some points it gets a little cluttered around the lower notes, maybe move some of the lower notes up an octave, as it was causing some dischords. Or unclutter the notes a bit. This song develops nicely, to a peacful bridge. I thoroughly enojoyed this song, keep it up man, ignore what the guy below said, he's just jealous ;)

PS - I take it from your name you're a KillSwitch fan?

SineRider responds:

Yeah, I know waht you mean, about midpoint in the song when the melody part coems in its a little wierd sounding.

And yes I am a Killswitch fan.

Great!

First impressions: very well produced, everything was clear and all the synths were pumping, and had their own special place in the stereo field, meaning you could clearly hear everything going on.

The whole piece sounded very futuristic, i liked the drum noise that sounded that sounded kind of like a gun going off or something, very original. And then the crazy change in tone that kept the loop interesting and dynamic. Very nice work, 5's all round!!

very nice

It had a nice catchy drum loop. Though overall i thought the piece was a little short. But i liked the layering of synth lines, that man it special for me. Though the ending was a bit of an anti-climax. Nice one, keep it up!

itsameyayo responds:

Yeah, I like my more recent songs since they're better, so go figure, hehehe. Thanks man, I'll keep putting out music in some shape or form : )

Nice Effort

Uh, the drums sounded out of time with everything else, is there a reason for this? But i like the melody in the synth line, quite catchy. Overall though i think this song lacks something, it's not as hard hitting as it could be. Keep working on stuff though man, i see talent there. Considering your only 16, this is a great effort!!

Noe3 responds:

Yeah it seems ppl have been saying my drums are off in this one, I'll see if I can't fix that in my next one = D

Thx for the review!

very nice

Im not sure if it says "tankmen" to me persay. But if i took this piece aside of that one moment. It's very well developed. The beginning is very medieval, and the whole thing is very epic. The snare and timpani give it a marching kind of feel, which helps to give the piece a good flow (and adds to the tankmen idea.) If i can critise one thing, it would be the snare sounds a little hollow and tinny. The ending is very abrupt, would be perfect for the title to come up just at that moment. Overall nice piece. I think it may just be lacking the comedy edge to pull off tankmen, but nonetheless another brilliant piece!!! Keep it up!

well done
